The Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 2 has a flat traffic free section between Turf Locks & Exeter Quay. There are 2 quality pubs on the rout that also serve good food. Double Locks & Turf Locks.

Ben Butterell aged 10 was very excited to show us photos on his mobile phone of the Common Carp and Mirror Carp he caught today in Cofton Lakes.  He didn’t catch anything yesterday but was really pleased today as his dad had only caught 4 little ones.  Well done Ben!

Mamhead, Powderham and Ashcombe Pools have an abundance of carp up to 8lb. We have invested in these lakes this year with over 1000lb of new carp averaging 2-4lb in weight.

Our species also include tench, roach, rudd, bream, perch and koi.
