We have been incredibly busy since we last updated our blog in July – so we must apologise for not writing sooner.

The summer holidays here in Devon were glorious and Cofton was full of families and couples enjoying a great holiday and the facilites we have on offer here.

Things seemed to get even better when we were nominated for The Best Park of the Year at this years Visit Devon Tourism Awards.  In fact, we added a few photos of the big award night to our Facebook page.  (For those of you who haven’t seen our Facebook page you can find it at here :www.facebook.com/cofton.  We won silver on the night – and were thrilled to have won.  We couldn’t have gained such recognition without the support of you all.

Now we are looking forward to Christmas and the start of the holdiays since the end of half-term which flew by and once again saw our holiday park full of families and couples enjoying an autumn break in Devon – and who can blame them?  It is such a beautiful season in Devon with the leaves changing to rich gold and reds creating a blaze of colour across the region and on the Moors – mavellous.  It is also the time when the log fires are lit and the local pubs boast wonderful Sunday roasts and hearty meals after a brisk walk.

It has been a great fun year so far for us here at Cofton – and it’s not over yet!
