Here at Cofton Country Holidays we make it our mission to give every guest an enjoyable stay, regardless of their age or physical ability. We are also well aware that many of our guests have special requirements, whether to do with mobility or sensory impairments. We are always happy to meet these needs as best we can. Whether it means giving our staff extra training, improving facilities or bettering access, we are committed to taking a positive, proactive approach that recognises every visitor as an individual.

We are proud to run Cofton as a forward-thinking holiday destination that does as much as possible to make all guests feel welcome. Most of our site, including the entire leisure and dining complex, reception, shop, and the Swan pub is wheelchair accessible, while we also work closely with local providers so that equipment such as mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walking sticks, and other aids are freely available at low cost.
Nor do we think those with specific needs should enjoy a lesser experience, which is why the site includes a number of special disability-friendly accommodation options, including several touring pitches, a tailor-made holiday home, and a specially designed camping pitch, all suitable for wheelchair users.
We are always looking for ways to improve what we do at Cofton, whether this means providing mobility scooters or adapting our games of bingo with a big screen to suit hard of hearing and deaf guests. We are always willing to listen and respond to improve practise, which is why your feedback is always welcome.

Our reception, restaurants, pub, shop and the vast majority of the main premises are fitted with ramps (the only exception is the games arcade), making us the ideal site for wheelchair accessible holidays in Devon!
There are 3 hard-standing and 2 grass touring pitches and 1 tent pitch (astro-turf) suitable for wheelchairs
1 wheelchair-friendly holiday home with access ramp, wide doors and wet room with grab rails
There is a portable induction loop stored in reception – staff are trained in its purpose and use
Wheelchairs, walking sticks and other aids available at a minimal fee. These can be delivered ahead of your arrival
We also have two mobility scooters on site in the peak season available to hire for £5 per day
