Rarely Exceed 3 1/2lb, Crucian Carp will take small bait such as maggot, partical, pastes and bread. Mid water and bottom feeders.
We have a few Koi Stocked in our waters which make a pleasent supprise for our anglers. koi have a similar scale pattern to common carp and come in a beautiful array of colours.
Tench tend to grow up to 5lb they take a variety of bait but being nibbles they're difficult to catch, they tend to feed on the bottom so keep an eye open for bubbles!
Bream grow from about 2" to 8", they take bait such as maggot, partical, paste and small pellets, these fish swim in shoals and are very common and should not be difficult to catch.
Rudd are typically 2" to 6" and take baits such as maggot and worm as well as a variety of particals such as sweetcorn and hempseed, easy to catch on relativly light line.
Roach are typically 2" to 6" and take baits such as maggot and worm as well as a variety of particals such as sweetcorn and hempseed, tend to swim in shoals.
Being a highly predatory species bait such as minnows, maggot and worm are favorable.
