Grass Camping Pitches

Our standard grass pitches are suitable for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, giving you a traditional camping and touring experience at Cofton in Dawlish, Devon.

Available from mid-March until the end of October, our grass pitches are level or terraced, individually marked out and include electric hook-up. Grass pitches are allocated by our warden team on arrival, so you can relax knowing we’ll help place you in a suitable spot for your stay.

For tent campers, we have a choice of grass camping areas across the park. The Orchard is reserved especially for tents, where you can pitch between the apple trees — particularly lovely in spring when the blossom is out. It’s also just a stone’s throw from the main park facilities, including the indoor pool and fish and chip takeaway, and a short walk from the fishing lakes.

Barn Field is another popular grass pitching area, with open views across the park and up towards Haldon. It is also home to our pump track and MUGA, making it a great choice for families who want outdoor space and activities close by.

During peak season, we also open the spacious 12 Acre Field. This area is next to our new toilet and shower block and is ideally placed for guests who want easy access to the Dawlish Warren walk.

Please note that commercial vehicles are not accepted on park. Any booking arriving with a commercial vehicle will be turned away on arrival.
