Tantalise your taste buds at the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink. They’ve been cooking up a storm over the last couple of years, and this years Food Festival is shaping up to be bigger, better and tastier than ever!
In addition to mouth-watering culinary delights served throughout the day and night, cooking lessons with renowned and celebrity chefs and junior sessions where budding cooks can hone their skills, there will be live music from local musicians and bands! All of this whilst basking in the Devonshire Spring sunshine… heavenly!
Taste of Summer
Our chef’s love working with the most scrumptious and freshest local produce, and you’ll have the opportunity to see for yourself where we source much of our food and drink!
Amongst the masses of super suppliers, Sandford Cider will be showcasing their selection of crisp, fruity and refreshing Devon ciders… Aaaaah!
Sandford Orchards are multi-award winning craft cider producers, and being nestled between coast and moor in sleepy Mid- Devon has provided the ultimate cider making landscape. Every drop of cider is naturally cold-fermented from the whole of juice of Devon cider apples grown within 30 miles of our press.
If you can contain yourself, the Sandford Devon Red is available on tap in The Swan Inn, our onsite country inn.
Did you know it’s an offence not to sample a cider whilst you’re in the Westcountry? Okay, so you may prefer to quench your thirst with an aromatic ale or flavoursome beer instead, we’ve got you covered! Otter Brewery has been producing world famous Bitter, Beers and Ales for almost 30 years and you can sample their array of refreshing beverages at the Festival and in The Swan Inn!
Salcombe Dairy has been producing sumptuous ice cream recipes for almost 30 years, and after a few tipples of liquid refreshment it might be wise to discover some of their delightful sorbets and luxury crushes!
If you need something a little more substantial then pop over and see Deli Farm Charcuterie, their handcrafted award winning artisan British charcuterie is both sustainable and local and even made using renewable energy! Now grab me a slice of that salami…
Stop licking your lips, the full list of exhibitors at the Food Festival can be found here.
As hard as it may be, save some room in your tummy for some of Amelia’s Pantry’s most delectable delights. Our head chef Martin is proud to use the fresh and tasty ingredients in a mouth-watering menu which is bursting at the seams with fulsome flavour!
Pan Roast Creedy Carver Chicken Supreme, Slow Braised Pork Belly or even the famous Devon Burger served with Jail-Ale Chutney… which one would you choose?
If we’ve successfully whet your appetite, then more information on the event can be found here. If you fancy putting into practice all that you learn during the Food Festival, our Coast and Country Cottages are perfect for cooking up some tasty treats for the whole family!

I just want to say how impressed my fellow Motorhomers and Caravaners were with the welcome and service we received during our stay. Staff in the office were polite and helpful at all times. Scott the restaurant manager was most accommodating when I enquired about reserving space for 25 to 30 of us for lunch after a walk. The service in the restaurant was speedy the food hot and varied. We were very pleased with the standards. Staff in the restaurant were cheerful and polite and helped make our meal most enjoyable. We had such a good time that we will be returning again next year for our Xmas Rally.
The best holiday park we've been to in our motorhome. Our children aged 2 and 4 loved it. Great facilities, entertainment and activities in one of the best parts of Devon!

We usually camp 3 times a year and hire a caravan after the Christmas break at Cofton, and will continue to do so. We thoroughly recommend staying there. Great for families or just the 2 of you.

We have been coming to Cofton since 2009 and have stayed at least 12 times. We love everything about Cofton: the location and scenery in and around the park, the quality and cleanliness of accommodation, the friendly welcoming atmosphere; Everything about Cofton is great!
