Your Perfect Workout  

Whether you enjoy the gym, training outdoors or in a studio, we have the perfect location for your workout. The intimate setting in the gym is perfectly suited to personal training. You will have a superb range of cardio equipment, resistance machines and a free weights section, including Olympic bars and squat rack as well as a variety of kettlebells and dumbbells.

Your trainer will teach you new techniques and aim to inject some variety into your workout, helping you to reach new levels of fitness.

Sometimes all you need is that extra motivation and our trainers are not only on hand to provide the professional knowledge, but also a bit of friendly encouragement.

Form and Technique 

If you lack confidence in the gym, your trainer will be on hand to help you learn suitable exercise variations and ensure your workouts are safe and correct.

Memberships at Cofton

To make the most of your personal training at Cofton, we recommend booking your session alongside a membership. This will allow you to make the most of the facilities and continue your programme on the days outside of your personal training schedule. 

This will help you to maximise your results and add some variety to your workout with facilities including indoor and outdoor pool and a packed timetable of fitness classes.

A Unique Setting

It is the stunning surroundings at Cofton, that makes the personal training environment that extra bit special. In summer months, our trainers will often mix it up and take your training session outside, where you can make the most of the grounds, the outdoor pool or the stunning environment.

In the winter months, the team typically make full use of our modern indoor spaces including the fitness studio, indoor cycling studio and gym, but the outlook across the Devon hills is still something special.

About you 

Playing rugby from the age of 7 and captain of the school rugby team throughout. I found my passion for sport and fitness. Having finished Exeter college in 2010 I left with my level 2 fitness instructing.

Whilst at Exeter college I had the privilege to play for the Exeter college rugby academy, where I begin my fitness journey coaching some of the players within the academy. Using my level 2 to teach in a previous gym, I found a bigger passion for fitness wanting to gain more experience, I decided to undertake my level 3 personal training qualification in 2013. Since qualifying as a personal trainer I have had the experience of working with different clients from semi-professional athletes to your regular gym users.

Personal trainer for 7 years and have worked in a number of different gyms throughout Devon. I have always been enthusiastic about sport, growing up I played semi-professional football. Before starting in the fitness industry I was in the military.
